When two people meet - the destination is not always forseen. Natalie and I met on Catalina Island in September almost three years to the date of our wedding vows. On this special day in September of 2006, I had been camping with my beautiful daughter and yes - my 2 year old grandaughter!!! What a ham she was - and still is!!! Our days became short as all vacations do - so Alisha and Brooklyn were on their way home a day early. I was left to have the Holiday to my self and breath the life of the islander for one more day!
Hunger eventually came upon the evening and I set out to find a resturant of choice for a quite yet personable evening. I ventured into two places of drink and substance only to find that the atmosphere was not of my choosing. A quaint little place, with an outdoor patio found its way to my approval and I took a seat under a tree in the patio area of what use to be the Channel House. I ordered a bottle of wine and began to find comfort in my surroundings.
A beautiful woman was sitting close by and I could be accused of ease dropping on her conversation with another party! When my dinner was finished and her conversation had ended I asked my waiter to offer her some of my bubbly!!! When she accepted she looked over at me and said " Why thank you very much"! My response was, "Your quite welcomed Natalie"! You can imagine her response to realize I knew her name, let alone much of her youthful life here on Catalina Island! She had spoken so vividly of the times and many summers that she was priveliged to have stayed here during her childhood.
This is where our relationship began and we fell in love! We had such parallel lives and an immediate connection, it was as if we had known each other already for years. We have shared so much together and our love has continued to grow each day throughout this lovely journey! And for our loved ones, family and freinds, we invite you to share in our up coming special day. This day marks the memories of many wonderful times to come, not to mention those that we speak of now so dearly....Please join us in our Marriage and Celebration of our Life together September 12th 2009 on Catalina Island.
